The Problem
They wanted to recreate the large tile that they had seen while on holiday. Their current bathroom felt a bit cramped, and they knew a larger tile pattern could help the room feel much more open and spacious. On top of that, they were planning to fit brand-new chrome taps and fixtures, so they really needed a wall finish with a nice gloss to reflect the light and tie everything together.
The Solution
Realising that actual oversized ceramic tiles are heavy, expensive, and a nightmare to cut, they looked for a smarter alternative. That’s when they found our double tile layout in Natural Carrara Double Tile Panel. The oversized tile design was spot on for tricking the eye and making the room feel bigger. Plus, the high-gloss finish was exactly what they needed to bounce light around the room and perfectly match their shiny new brass accents.
The Installation
Putting up these panels was a breeze compared to struggling with massive, heavy tiles. managed to fit the 15 panels in just a day Because they are so easy to handle, they went up quickly.
The Result
The new bathroom looks massive compared to how it used to be. The double-tile pattern really opens up the space, and the glossy walls alongside the chrome fixtures make the whole room pop. That alongside the fact that they had a lot of accents that they wanted to hang from the panels was another huge selling point. With the SPC panels they are a solid core to mounting fixtures was simple.
