The Problem
Chloe Bennett runs a busy hair salon in Headingley, Leeds. The painted walls behind her backwash sinks were constantly getting splashed with water and stained by dark hair dyes. She needed a fully waterproof solution that could withstand daily chemical splashes but still looked stylish for her clients.
The Solution
Chloe wanted a large, tiled look to make the small wash area feel wider. She selected the Florence Beige Double Tile Wall Panel. This gave her the appearance of large 1400mm x 600mm tiles, but with a fully wipeable surface that wouldn’t absorb stray hair dye.
The Installation
A local carpenter fitted the panels on a Sunday when the salon was closed. They were easily cut to fit around the existing sink plumbing and wall mirrors, taking just one day to complete.
The Result
The wash area is now completely protected from water and chemicals. If dye splashes onto the wall, Chloe’s staff simply wipe it off with a damp cloth, leaving no stains behind.
